Please read the following terms and conditions before using Smart Food Packaging. All users of this site agree that access to and use of this site are subject to the following terms and conditions and applicable law. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use this site.
Privacy Policy / Terms and Conditions
Smart Food Packaging is a trading name of Supply Express Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 07113263.
All orders and payments are processed by Supply Express Ltd.
Delivery Charges
We offer free delivery on all orders over £100 (excluding VAT) to the UK Mainland. Packages are usually delivered on the next working day after receipt of payment.
Standard shipping is FREE on orders over £100.00 excluding VAT to the UK Mainland.

*To qualify for free UK Mainland delivery, your order must be £100 excluding VAT.
Free delivery is for UK Mainland only. It does not apply to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland, the Isle of Man and all offshore isles.
Delivery Service
It is the customer's responsibility to be available when your order is due for delivery. Please arrange delivery to an address where someone will be present to receive it.
Orders are usually delivered on the next working day after receipt of payment.
Our delivery service is based on a next working day service, meaning:
- Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Thursday will usually be delivered on the next working day.
- Orders placed before 3pm on Friday will usually be delivered on the following Tuesday.
Please note that although this service is generally reliable, it is not guaranteed and no specific delivery time is stipulated.
All our services are trackable and if you contact us, we will be happy to provide tracking details for your parcel.
Our usual delivery service is Monday to Friday. Our couriers can deliver on a Saturday or Sunday, but this is a premium service at extra cost and not as reliable. Please contact us if you require a Saturday or Sunday delivery.
Some UK destinations are too remote to receive a 1–3 day service. Please check that your postcode can receive deliveries before placing an order and paying for this service.
No deliveries will be made on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day and Bank Holidays.
Courier Claims and Reporting Issues
Our couriers (including DPD and DHL) do not accept any claim from us if we contact them more than 14 days after delivery.
Therefore, if you have any issue with your delivery (damage, missing cartons, wrong items, etc.), you must email us within 13 days of delivery so that we can investigate and submit a claim on your behalf.
Please also report any problems with your order as soon as possible, and ideally within 48 hours of receipt.
Back Orders
If the items you are ordering are not in stock, we will dispatch them when they are back in stock. You will be given an estimated delivery date or offered a suitable alternative if the item is no longer available.
You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you do not accept the new delivery date or the alternative item offered.
Delivery Terms and Conditions
We use third-party couriers for deliveries. Although we endeavour to achieve our Mainland next working day delivery service, we cannot be held responsible for:
- Hub or depot breakdowns
- Vehicle breakdowns
- Extreme weather conditions
- Acts of malicious damage or terrorism
- Any other unforeseen events that delay or prevent delivery
Please order in good time for any vital deliveries.
Our couriers are contracted only to deliver to the customer's threshold (door), not to the specific location in the property where the customer may want the goods placed.
Any order refused because the driver will not carry items beyond the threshold will:
- Be treated as not accepted by you, and
- Result in you being liable for return postage and a £25 administration fee, as the delivery company has fulfilled their contract and you have broken yours by not accepting delivery.
Any parcel that appears damaged must be signed for as "damaged". Do not sign parcels as "unchecked" — no claims for damage can be made at a later date if the parcel is not signed for as damaged.
Returns
If a customer changes their mind or no longer wants the order, or orders the wrong items, the customer must pay for delivery costs. This includes costs to receive the order and return the items.
We are unable to refund carriage charges, as costs are incurred as soon as the goods are dispatched from our warehouses.
If any item is sent by mistake by Smart Food Packaging, we will cover all return costs for the incorrect item and the delivery charges for sending the correct items to you.
For non-defective goods returned by the customer within 14 days of delivery, we will refund the price paid minus a re-stocking administration fee of 20% of the order value.
If your order includes a small order charge, this will not be included as part of the refund.
Where items are being returned, they must:
- Be unopened and unused,
- Be in their original packaging,
- Be returned in full pack quantities.
We cannot offer any refunds if a partial pack is returned.
Please make sure you get a receipt from the Post Office or courier when you return an item, in case of damage or loss during transit.
If you have an issue with your order or wish to discuss a return, please email: sales@smartfoodpackaging.co.uk with your order number and details, and our team will advise you on the next steps.
Please do not return any products without our prior approval and the return address we provide by email. Returns sent back without our confirmation email and the correct return address may not be accepted and you may lose your right to a refund.
Cancelling Rights
If you contact us and cancel your order before we have dispatched it, we will refund the total amount of your payment.
If the order has already been dispatched and you then wish to cancel and return your items, we cannot refund the full amount of your order (shipping and re-stocking charges may apply).
The customer must notify us in writing (letter, fax or email) within 14 working days of delivery.
The customer will bear the cost of returning the goods unless the goods are being returned because they are defective, in which case we will arrange collection via our nominated couriers.
All customers are obliged to retain possession of goods and take reasonable care of them.
Please note that if you wish to cancel your order after dispatch, this is only possible in accordance with the procedure given here. Simply refusing delivery of your parcel does not comply with these terms and conditions.
For non-defective goods returned within 14 days of delivery, we will refund the price paid minus a 20% re-stocking administration fee.
On receipt of the goods, you will receive a credit, exchange or refund for the total value of goods returned, subject to the goods being returned in an unspoilt, saleable condition. Refunds usually take 4–7 working days to be processed.
Liability (Goods)
Any defect in the quality, quantity or condition of the goods must be notified by you to us upon receipt of the goods, and the delivery should be signed for as damaged, and we should be contacted immediately. Signing "unchecked" is not sufficient.
If you do not notify us and simply refuse the delivery, we will not accept liability for such defect and you will be required to pay for the goods in full as if delivered.
We will inspect any goods returned:
- If a defect is identified, you will be given the option of a replacement at no additional cost or a full refund of the price of the goods. Our liability will go no further than this. Refunds take 4–7 working days to be processed.
- If no defect is identified, the goods will be returned to you at your cost.
Under no circumstances will we be liable for any loss of profits, additional costs, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any defect in goods supplied. Our liability will be restricted to the value of goods returned and found to be defective upon inspection.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer or our liability to you for fraudulent misrepresentation or for death or injury resulting from our negligence.
Disclaimer of Photos
The photos on this website are provided to assist you in choosing the right product. These photos are samples only and are not intended to provide a perfect match to the actual product.
Colours and photo sizes may vary based on your screen resolution and other computer settings outside of Smart Food Packaging's control. The photo may differ from the actual product due to:
- Reproduction limitations of photography
- Variations in viewing conditions (resolution, hue, brightness, contrast, etc.)
Therefore, Smart Food Packaging shall not be held responsible for any variation between the photos on this website and the actual product you receive, including but not limited to: colour variation, grain variation, colour change and character variation.
Terms and Conditions – General
The following terms and conditions cover the sale of goods from Smart Food Packaging ("the Company") to you ("the Customer").
By using this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use or access this website.
Price and Ordering
- The price payable for goods is the price shown on the website at the time you place your order.
- Receiving an order confirmation means we have received your order; it does not mean a contract exists. Acceptance occurs when we dispatch the goods to you.
This is to protect against mistakes in pricing (under-pricing or over-pricing) or where we are no longer able to supply a product.
In the event of a price change, we will contact you first to confirm that the new price is acceptable.
If a product is no longer available, we will try to offer a suitable alternative.
If items are not in stock and not available, you will have the option to cancel the order. If you cancel, you will not be charged. Goods can also be placed on back order.
We try our best to ensure all pricing and descriptions are correct; however, if a price or description is incorrect, we reserve the right not to sell the product or service at that incorrect price/description.
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal and cheques (cheques must clear before goods are dispatched).
We use many manufacturers and suppliers and cannot be held responsible for:
- Delays in service to us
- Product changes we have not been notified about (for example, minor colour changes)
To use discounts and voucher codes, customers must be registered members of the website. Smart Food Packaging reserves the right to refuse any discount code or withdraw discounts/voucher codes at any time.
Delivery and Title
Where stock is available, we will deliver your order in accordance with the delivery schedule above (see "Delivery Charges" and "Delivery Service").
All delivery dates are estimates only and we cannot be held liable for any delay in delivery, however caused.
Title (ownership) of the goods passes to you only upon full payment of the goods, including all relevant taxes and delivery costs. Smart Food Packaging reserves the right to repossess goods if payment is not made in full.
Tax Charges
All prices quoted exclude VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT will be added at the applicable rate at checkout.
Privacy Policy
We do not disclose customer information to third parties, except when order details are processed as part of order fulfilment (for example, to couriers or payment processors). In that case, the third party will not disclose any details to any other third party.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to:
- Keep track of the contents of your shopping cart
- Store delivery addresses (if the address book is used)
- Store your details if you select the "Remember Me" option
- Assist with log-in and session management
You can turn off cookies in your browser settings; however, if you do so, you may be unable to place orders or use certain features of the site.
We may collect contact details (name, email, address, phone number) when you voluntarily submit them via our site (for example, contact forms, newsletter sign-up, competitions, questionnaires). We will use this information to respond to enquiries and may from time to time contact you about products, services or events relevant to your interests. We will not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing.
Force Majeure
We shall have no liability for any failure or delay in supply or delivery, or for any damage or defect to goods supplied or delivered, caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control.

You are granted permission to electronically copy and print portions of this site for the sole purpose of:
- Placing an order with Smart Food Packaging, or

Limitation of Liability (Website Use)

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain liabilities, so the above limitations may not apply in full.
Typographical Errors
In the event that a Smart Food Packaging product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for that product at the incorrect price, whether or not the order has been confirmed and your card charged. If your card has already been charged and the order is cancelled, we will issue a credit for the amount of the incorrect price.
Term and Termination
These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. We may terminate these terms and conditions (or any part of them) at any time without notice. Provisions relating to Copyright, Trademarks, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Miscellaneous shall survive any termination.

Use of Site

We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer payment details with any third parties, except as necessary to process payments.
